Date: The Crown and Name with England stamp on the base was used from 1945, the sideplate is probably from the 1950's.

Info: "The Hayride" pattern from Alfred Meakin, with a slightly scalloped edge, with gold trim on the edges.
Charming old style Bread and Butter Plate for the display cabinet or for the table.
Alfred Meakin Ltd was set up in 1875 and operated from the Royal Albert, Victoria and Highgate Potteries in Tunstall. Alfred Meakin was the brother of James and George Meakin who ran a large pottery company in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
Condition: Very Good, the pattern and gold trim is in very good condition throughout, rarely used and has been in a cabinet.
