This is style one of a beautiful classic figurine produced by the world famous and highly collectible Royal Doulton factory in Stoke on Trent, England.
It was designed by Lesle Harradine in 1937 and is now discontinued. The figure has become one of the most recognisable of the Royal Doulton of the factory's range and is one of the most sought after. She is shown buffeted by the wind in a deep red dress and holding her hat onto her head. It is an earlier example having the hand painted numeral dating the piece to before the mid 1950s. It has the superb painting only seen on these earlier examples.
It is firsts quality and is in good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. boxed
