The journal of General Charles Brink, veteran of the Boer War against the British, and World War One, for the British, his two sons, Drs. André and Carolus, and Albert van der Riet, fishing for game fish off St. Helena island.


Undated 42 page hardcover, assumed first edition, published by Sealandair Publications (Pty.) Ltd., circa 1951. The jacket is poor, marked in places, with wear and tears to edges, and a large creased portion at the top rear, and is now protected in a Brodart sleeve. Black titling on green cloth boards, with possible remnant of the jacket stuck to edges. Fold-out map of St. Helena. 14 plates containing 16 illustrations. Tanning to title and last pages. Fogartys Port Elizabeth label to inside rear board.
