The Girl's Own Paper was a weekly British periodical aimed at young women, published from 1880 until 1956. It is packed full of gripping serials, articles on world travel, cultures and colonies, work advice, arts and crafts, poetry and songs, interesting and famous people, household and gardening advice, and advice on health, education and fashion. Gives a fascinating insight into life in the Victorian age. Worth buying just for the beautiful engravings in black and white, which could be framed and sold. Illustrations on nearly every page.
