2nd Logistical Command Insignia Patch
2nd Logistical Command was the key logistical support and supply command during the Korean war for United States Armed forced. Although technically classified as a light infantry, 2nd Logistical reported directly to logistical command and was active from 1947 to 1972. It's reporting units included : 3rd Transportation Amphibious Truck Company

Kunsan Port Area Command
Maintenance Battalion
Seoul Area Command
Taegu Military Command Area.
Deployed to Okinawa from it's base in Fart Lee in Virginia, and was considered a key command in South East Asia at that time.
This SSI patch is the second design for the command and was worn from29 January, 1953. This patch comes from a lot manufactured in 1969 as official USGI military patch with a merrowed edge.
