Antique Silver Menu/Place Card Holder (1902)
This scarce, lovely, cast sterling silver menu or place card holder from the early 1900's, features a lady in period dress carrying a basket under one arm, standing on a round circular base with a slot at the back. It's a fine quality piece with a nice weight and is in excellent condition, with clear silver English hallmarks on the base. The holder was made in London in 1902 by silversmiths 'Charlie Jacques & Frederick Bartholomew' (CJ. FB). It stands 6,8cm high, with a base measurement of 3,5cm x 3cm and weighs 23,3g.
