Condition:  Very Good/Good

Binding tight, text block complete--no loose or missing pages; no tears. Spine cocked, leans forward.

Boards reasonably clean and bright, no fading. Light tanning to spine--otherwise author name, title and publisher lettering intact. Shelf wear limited to top and lower edge of spine, rubbed; Lower edges and corners of front and back boards rubbed.

Endpapers with orange maps uniformly tanned  where not masked by flaps of DJ,  Small rubber stamp, and price covered over with black marker, top corner of f.f endpaper--otherwise clean and bright.

Verso of f.f. endpaper tanned with foxing, light foxing on half-title; foxing on final page and recto r.f. endpaper, tanned.

Foxing to edges of text block, which occasionally migrate into the margins. Very occasional instances of foxing in the text throughout--on the whole clean. 

Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Shelf-worn but reasonably bright, and all in one piece.  Flaps clean and bright. Unclipped.  Light rubbing to lower edge, scuffing at heel of DJ spine;  Rubbing and scuff marks along the hinge of front flap with scuffing and light chipping at extremities; same for back flap hinge, but less so. A 20mm closed tear and creasing at top corner of front cover. Scuffing and light chipping to head of DJ spine. Light foxing and tanning inside of DJ, with small dampstain on hinge of upper spine.
