Antique Silver '1911 Festival of Empire' Souvenir Spoon
This fine quality, antique, solid silver souvenir spoon celebrating the opening of the 'Festival of Empire' exhibition in 1911, at the 'Crystal Palace' in London, features at the top, a crown with the date 1911, a very ornate stem and a lovely, detailed bowl with the woods 'FESTIVAL OF EMPIRE IMPERIAL EXHIBITION & PAGEANT OF LONDON. 1911'. It was made in Birmingham, England in 1910 by silversmiths 'Elkington & Co Ltd' (E&C) and is in excellent condition. The spoon measures 11cm in length and weighs 15,2g.
