NM (Near Mint) - Maybe played Once or Never - No Scratches
VG+ (Very Good+) - Has a few hairline scratches or a more prominent scratch
VG (Very Good) - Has many hairline scratches and/or a few prominent scratches. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
VG- (Very Good Minus) - Has a significant scratch that affects playback on one or more tracks. Rest of LP is VG/VG+
G+ (Good +) - (Numerous scratches on record but music still listenable although some scratching noise while playing
G (Good) - Numerous Scratches - Scratching Noise During Play. May be interruptions on playback. Not play tested
F (Fair) - Numerous Scratches, Could be major/deep scratches.- Scratching Noise During Play. May be interruptions on playback. Not play tested
