Vintage Silver-Plated Food Warmer & French Porcelain Entrée Dish (Pillivuyt)
This early, top-quality pair consists of a French 'Albert Pillivuyt' porcelain lidded entrée dish and a silver-plated table-top food warmer stand, complete with its functioning spirit burner. The oval lidded dark green, with gold trim entrée dish, was made by the well-known French porcelain company 'PILLIVUYT', who were established in 1818. The silver-plated stand and burner were made in Sheffield, England by manufactures 'George Waterhouse & Co' (W&Co). The stand appears to have been designed for this entrée dish, as it fits perfectly, and they're in excellent condition. The dish measures 27cm x 17cm and stands 11cm high with the lid. The stand measures 25cm x 16,5cm and stands 15cm high. Together they stand 22cm high and weigh 1,77kg.
