Admiral Cunningham, arguably the greatest British Naval Commander since Lord Nelson. During the Second World War he managed to hold the Mediterranean and prevent it from becoming an Axis stronghold. He was the last of a long line of great sailor-admirals who made the British Royal Navy master of the seas for centuries.
