I do not know much about this piece but my father had a discerning eye. I believe that it is of European origin, probably French. The top has 3 shallow drawers with gorgeous Brass handles. This dresser is a very handsome piece and measures 187cm long x 58 cm deep and 99cm tall. Please look at the detailed carving and patterning.
The side cabinets are lockable and are missing some drawers and have lovely engravings of birds on them. The base is neat and has a bow front section in the middle with a rear panel in the alcove. All sections are are removeable and so this piece is easy to transport. Top, bottom and side cabinets all come apart.
This piece presents extremely well even though it does have some wear. The top does have some minor indentations but the polish has hidden them well and one does not really even see them unless close up. Please see pics.
