It is a tool used to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in vehicles that are 1996 and newer OBDII compliant US, European, and Asian vehicles. Some of the features of the KW680 scanner include multilingual support, a high-resolution TFT colorful display, a brand new design keypad, battery real-time monitoring during diagnostics, and a memory card that allows storage of trouble codes and live data.
The KW680 scanner can retrieve generic and manufacturer-specific codes, turn off the check engine light, display DTC definitions on the unit screen, and view freeze frame data. It can also identify pending codes, read live PCM data stream, display live O2 sensor test data, and graph data for vehicles made in 1996 and newer. Other features include the ability to store and playback live sensor data, perform modules present test, and retrieve vehicle information such as VIN, CIN, and CVN.
The scanner comes with a USB cable and a user manual, and it can be upgraded via the internet. It also has a large easy-to-read backlit LCD screen and is compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10. It is a useful tool for car repair and troubleshooting.
