First edition published by Michael Joseph 1962. The dust jacket has tears at the edges and stains on the back. The inside cloth cover in excellent condition. Inside pages clean, but book edges spotted and stained. Previous owner's name on front flyleaf. Binding sturdy.

Real good-tasting medicine, just what the doctor ordered to get you in a better mood. If you're familiar with the Doctor books by Richard Gordon, like Doctor in the House and Doctor at Sea, you'll know what a treat is awaiting you.

To the popular coastal resort Whortleton-on-Sea that well-known practitioner with a genius for catastrophe, Dr Gaston Grimsdyke, went for a jolly summer holiday with Anemone and her mother, Dame Hilda, the famous criminologist who's set so many delinquent females back on their stiletto heels. You must come along for the trip.
