1903 Antique (Date Letter R) Silver Plated Elkington & Co. Birmingham Tea Pot

Manufactured by Elkington & Co. Birmingham during 1903, an antique silver plated tea pot with ornate scroll handle, standard spout and an empirical lid finial above a hinged lid. The tea pot has been designed with a broad base which narrows perceptibly toward the rim. The tea pot has a solid build and is quite heavy.

STAMPS OR MARKS: Impressed underneath IA 16635 E & Co. E & Co. R Elkington & Co.

CONDITION:  Age related wear and plate loss has occurred revealing a copper/brass tone and the spout and base beneath the spout has been professionally repaired giving it a very rustic appearance. Aside from this the tea pot is in good usable condition, or ideal for rustic country style decorative purposes.
