Vintage manual hand water pump.

I cannot find any information about this pump, except its got the same construction like a bicycle tire pump.
I assume this pump to have been used to pump water.
The pump is in vintage condition and was told it is quite worth something.
In my opinion this item can only be used as a decorative measure.
The lenth is 56cm and 97cm when extracted.
