Hardcover published by Alfred A. Knopf, 1967, stated first printing. The paper jacket is whole, with wear, chips missing, and sunning to the top edge. The foot of the spine too has two small pieces missing, and a  long crease between two 2cm tears to the bottom edge. The spine is lightly sunned. The boards are square, clean and solid; in virtually as new condition. The pages are rough cut to the side, and with a blue top-stain, and are clean and unmarked. Inserted loosely within is a letter on the publisher's letterhead, regarding the jacket photograph. The photograph is a press print reproduction, sent out with the book for review purposes.
