Light relief from the serious business of making war.
At Putnam's Landing, a quiet town on the Connecticut coast, the USA Army authorities decide to set up a base for the launching of missiles against rockets. Great trouble is a-coming: the townspeople are very town-proud, and then, on the other hand, the tough Major Hoxie, in charge of the missile base, has absolutely no use for pesky civilians. You will be lucky if you can keep yourself from laughing out loud ... continuously.
