Vintage Solid Silver & Enamel 'R.A.O.B.' Medal or Fob
This heavy, early, sterling silver and blue enamel 'Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffalos' (RAOB) is in excellent condition with a lovely gilding. It is stamped with English silver hallmarks dating this piece to 1968 and was made in Birmingham by silversmiths 'F.C. Parry Ltd' (F.C.P).The wording engraved on the back reads 'PRESENTED TO BRO. M. GATES FOR SERVICES RENDERED AS SECRETARY'. It measures 4,7cm x 3,6cm and weighs 19g.
