Hardcover published in Great Britain 1954 by Hutchinson. The jacket is edge-worn, with a pair of larger chips to the head and foot of the spine, with some spotting visible, and is now protected in a Brodart sleeve. The green boards with gilt titling are clean, with some light surface insect damage, and a slight lean to the spine. Apart from some light scattered foxing to the pictorial end-papers, initial and last few pages, and top external page edges, the pages are clean and unmarked.
