The Tylos Period Burials in Bahrain. Volume 2 - The Hamad Town DS 3 and Shakhoura Cemeteries, by Mustafa Ibrahim Salman and Soren Fredslund Andersen.

Over the past 40 years the Bahraini authorities have excavated at very large number of burials from the so-called Tylos Period (c. BC 300 to AD 600). In 2007, the glass and pottery from these burials were published and a chronological framework for the burials was thus established. In this volume 29 cemeteries from two areas in Bahrain are presented and analyzed in a geographical, chronological and social perspective. The book is well illustrated with 380 drawings and photos, most of them in color.
