The author reserved 500 copies of this unique book to be numbered and signed as Collectors' pieces. This copy is hand-numbered by the author as number 400, and it is inscribed and signed. A doodle of a cheetah footprint is also included. Dated: 22 February 1976. Included is a typed letter of authentication. Also included is a signed print of the cheetah named Chicheebah, by wildlife artist Denis Murphy. The dust jacket has some wear and creasing, and is protected by a clear plastic cover. The pages are charmingly and uniformly yellowed and within, the contents are clean and clear.
