This is a no-nonsense classic vintage, bomb proof turntable, indefinitely renewable and designed to last forever. This particular unit is one of a pair restored for everyday use. I do not know the serial no. The original cream paint has been removed but you can re-spray it if you want to, but the aluminium casing is pleasing and unusual and can be indefinitely polished. This turntable, when fitted with a rigid arm - SME MK V or REGA RB 250 OR 300 together with a moving coil sounds fantastic, and, in my opinion, is very hard to equal without selling your house first! An older 3009 arm with an MM sounds excellent as well. I use this combo for my older records.
