LETTUCE SALAD BOWL - ORGANIC SEED - AVAILABLE IN GREEN OR RED
Top quality lettuce! Close-set, deep-lobed, brilliant red leaves. They are noted for lasting sweetness and tenderness and stay crisp and tasty even after the weather becomes hot. App rox.45 days to harvest.
The more you cut, the more they grew. Not only do they provide a deliciously different and colourful addition to your table everyday, they are so abundant that you are able to provide our neighbours with fresh leaves on a regular basis. They do not seem to be troubled by slugs (possibly the mildly peppery aroma) and do not bolt easily.
Sow lettuce in seedling trays (see our Plastic Seedling Trays) in spring to autumn and transplant when true leaves appear and seedlings are well established.
