In the lively streets of Victorian London, street vendors were a common sight. In the early 20th century, Royal Doulton artists recreated these characters, including "The Flower Sellers Children," a figurine designed by Leslie Harradine in 1929. This hand-painted figurine, featuring a mix of vibrant colors like royal blues, sunny yellow, ruby red, soft pink, mauve, and green, was part of the "London's Street Vendor Series" collection, specifically the "HN" series named after Harry Nixon, the head of the Royal Doulton painting department.
Dating from 1929-1932, this figurine is a cherished relic. A unique feature of older pieces is the handwritten name and HN number, as explained in accompanying displays.
