The Wrth Elektronik WR-BHD is produced according to DIN 41615 standard. Insulation Displacement Connector: An insulated wire is pressed into a terminal slot smaller than the conductor's diameter, displacing the insulation to make electrical contact. Insulation doesn't have to be removed, this is the major advantage of this termination method.
