Hardcover published by Hodder and Stoughton, 5th reprint october 1937, no jacket. The boards are worn and marked, and the spine is sunned. The name of a previous owner is written on the first end-paper. There is some light foxing / spotting to the first and last few pages, and pages edges, but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. 9 fold-out maps are present in the rear of the book, the first being slightly worn, as the edge extends past the pages.
