Hardcover first published in 2002 on behalf of the author by Scotforth Books. The glossy jacket is whole, with light rubbing to the faces. The blue cloth boards are clean, square and unmarked, but with minor bumps to the top corners. All pages clean and unmarked. Inscribed and signed by the author on the title page. Possibly a limited editon, number 133:240 copies, as stamped in the top right corner of the title page. "This harrowing real-life account is set in a Prisoner of War hospital camp in East Germany during World War II. The story graphically describes the extreme hardships endured by the author and his fellow prisoners, experiences that are impossible to imagine for those who were not there."
