Last book of David Rattray before his murder. Exquisitely illustrated and researched book recounting the adventures of a British soldier who was also an amateur artist. Rattray was able to identify the viewpoints of some of the watercolours and photographed them as they are today for the book very interesting!

This book - already scarce - is destined to become an classic Africana and Militaria collectable.
