In June 1945, a British intelligence unit stumbled upon 16 tons of reconnaissance pictures that were dumped in a barn, deep in the forests of Bavaria. With great secrecy, the documents were immediately evacuated back to England, and by July 1945, twenty-three plane loads of documents had been removed from the chaos of Germany. This book reproduces 209 of these images.
