Info: Two Vintage ornaments from Delft, Holland, a water pitcher and fruit basket, great for the display cabinet.
Traditional Blue and white flowers decoration on both pieces with similar design patterns with stripes on the handle of the Water Jug and Fruit Basket handle.
The Water Jug has an unusual s shaped on Bottom of the handle.
Delftware or Delft pottery, also known as Delft Blue or as delf, is a general term now used for Dutch tin-glazed earthenware, a form of faience. Most of it is blue and white pottery, and the city of Delft in the Netherlands was the major centre of production, but the term covers wares with other colours, and made elsewhere.
Condition: Very Good, no marks or issues on teh pair of ornamental pieces at all, some crackle in the glaze of the water Pitcher due to its age.
