Author - Servaas Le Roux

Publisher - Servaas D Le Roux; 1939, First edition.

A fair condition hardback book - no dustjacket.

Original red/orange boards show watermarks to the top edge of the front board; bruises to the corners and fore-edge of the back board.

The spine band is sunned.

Titling to the spine-band is discernible. Gilt titling to the front board is dulled.

Apart from the defects to the boards this would be Good condition. A great candidate for re-casing.

Owner's signature to the front pastedown.

Head and tail of the spine-band is softened.

Small spot 'crater' on the top edge of the paperblock close to the spine - possibly a burn patch 2mm deep and 5mm long x 2mm wide.

Press review flyer tipped in at the front end-paper.

Gift inscription to the front end-paper underneath the press flyer.

Foxing to the end-papers and sporadic light foxing through the text block.

198 pages with frontispiece portrait of the author and 12 plate illustrations.

54 Sportsmen/Hunters biographies are detailed.
