History/Background Information: 10 Pound Te Velde issue of the ZAR government (Gouvernements Noot). Issued against the security of state owned farms with a 6% interest. Hand signed by the Acting Auditor General (AP Brugman) and Acting Treasurer General (PN De Villiers). Dated 1.4.1902 and printed on school exercise paper. Certified Very Fine 35.
Condition Notes: An impressive example retaining all the bold characteristics of the type. Minor creases and stains noted for accuracy. Rare and seldom offered and bearing the sought after 01.04.1902 date. A beautiful note with an incredible history.
