I have no idea about cricket but sent away for this book being an admirer of John Ireland's work. As with the golf book in this series (which I've recently received) the subjects are closely observed and illustrated in fine detail. Due to the nature of the sport, the cricket volume gives John Ireland a chance to portray his subjects in more dynamic poses than the game of golf allowed which adds further interest. Another beautiful book and I look forward to seeing the others.
