Hardcover printed by Mercantile Printing Works, copyright dated 1969. The jacket is whole, with wear and chipping along the edges, and rubbed faces. The boards are clean and solid, but with some shelf wear and sunning to the bottom edge. There is a pen gift inscription on the first end-paper, and the first and last pages are foxed. "Vuyana, the vengeful witchdoctor uses his dark powers of witchcraft, seeking to destroy Twana's young family. Msepo faces grinning death - a mysterious sickness descends on Luke! Famine strikes! Twana is forced to forsake his kraal - to seek work in distant Durban."
