The Union Modlok nylon padlock features a glass reinforced nylon body with a UV protective plastic cover and a stainless steel shackle. The body material makes it flame retardant thereby making it suitable for electric lockouts as it does not conduct any electricity. The various colours make it visible when used for safety lockout. It has a 5 pin tumbler mechanism and the spring loaded shackle is retained upon opening.
