Beautifully painted in bright colours. Excellent condition. Fitted with hook on back.
Teresa of Ávila, OCD, also called Saint Teresa of Jesus, was a Carmelite nun and prominent Spanish mystic and religious reformer. Active during the Counter-Reformation, Teresa became the central figure of a movement of spiritual and monastic renewal, reforming the Carmelite Orders of both women and men.
An English translation oh her prayer: "Let nothing trouble you, Let nothing frighten you, Everything passes, God does not change, Patience overcomes everything. In your thoughts arise, rise up to heaven Let nothing disturb you."
