the Approach of French specialists to solving the problem was not original: the first experimental transport aircraft with jet engines was created in 1950 on the instructions of the Ministry of aviation, having converted from a piston Transporter Bellatrix. The machine installed two engines NIN company rolls-Royce, manufactured under license by Spanish-Suiza. Later adapted in a similar way modified SO-30R for testing the French jet engine company SNECMA Atar. Both aircraft were experimental and were not intended for serial production and operation by airlines.
