While the electricity is on the incubator automatically charges the battery. As soon as the electricity goes off then the incubator gets it's power from the battery. The incubator does this automatically - no need to go and start a generator!
Think of it as almost like a cellphone - once you charge the battery full you can use it while the electricity is off until the battery dies.
The Surehatch SH60 Minihatch is our smallest fully automatic digital egg incubator and hatcher. Very user friendly and easy to operate. You can load up to a maximum of 60 eggs at a time or 20 eggs per week, making it ideal for small scale hobby use. Hatching eggs have never been this easy!
