Very old and fragile - The Ward, Lock and Bowden Pansy Series dated from the 1890s - Scarce item - It is very old and must be handled with care.  >>>   This book is written as a correspondence between Moses and a Phoenician prince.  At the start, the reader sees Moses as an Egyptian prince, observes his dawning realization of his heritage, followed by his escape from Egypt, and return many years later.   -   The heavy research in this book can make it feel like heavy reading at times.  But don't give up!  I came away fascinated by what it must have been like to go from powerful monarch to member of a slave nation.  There are many intriguing details, such as the idea that Aaron may have been enslaved in making idols, which could explain why he so easily fashioned a golden calf!   (Analie on Goodreads)
