1) The Love of Baby Animals
By Burton, Robert 1976. Page width 235 mm x 315 mm approx, 96 pages inclusive of index. Over 100 appealing colour photographs of baby animals. The author describes the fascinating family life of each baby, the dangers it has to face in the wild and the role it will be called upon to play once it grows up.
Condition: Used, cover is faded and scuffed but the gloss dust jacket has given it protection. Dust cover has been reinforced from the inside, the book binding and spine are strong, there is a small tear to the bottom of one of the pages, this has been neatly repaired. The book is clean, bright with no notations.
2) Animals of the World
By Kilpatrick, Cathy, Published by Hamlyn, London (1977)
Hardcover large format - page size approx 215 mm x 290 mm, 172 pages
Lots of photographs, both colour and black and white, the book takes the reader on a journey right from the simplest and oldest animals starting with the invertebrates - protozons and sponges and ending with the the vertebrates - mammals.
Condition: The book did sustain water damage at some stage, but this is only staining and page warping nothing critical. The gloss dust jacket has been neatly reinforced with clear tape from the inside.
The book is still in a presentable used condition.

In good condition hard cover.
4) Highland Birds
B y D.Nethersole-Thompson published by The Highlands Development Board, Inverness, first publication 1971, printed in Scotland.
A nice used copy in a very good condition, with just a few marks and the hard soft cover has worn well with just a wee bit of scuffing to the edge. There are 112 pages inclusive of index, approx page size: width 225 mm x length 203 mm .
The photographs are black and white as well as colour.
An interesting fact about this book, there were over 1,000 colour transparencies and 600 monochrome prints submitted by the public for this publication, unfortunately due to space many were not used.
