Antique Victorian Hand-painted Portrait Brooch Pendant in Sterling Silver Frame with security chain
This stunning portrait, dating from around 1890, is hand-painted and framed in an elaborate sterling silver frame with a back plate, also in silver, securing it in place. The back plate is marked Sil. Not only is it a brooch, but you can also wear this magnificent piece as a pendant.
For extra security and to make sure the brooch is secured, it has a security chain with a pin to secure it to your garment. The chain and pin is also Sterling Silver.
It is in a very good condition with slight wear to be expected from a piece this old. The brooch measures about 5 cm X 4 cm. The security chain and pin measures about 8 cm. A beautiful collector's piece to add to your jewellery collection.
