Early Moorcroft 'Orchids' Bowl & Cover (C.1930/40's)
This wonderful, early 'William Moorcroft' bowl and cover is beautifully decorated and tube-lined in the colourful 'orchids' pattern against a dark blue mottled background. The bowl and cover are in excellent condition with vibrant colours to the lid and the base has the impressed signature in blue with the words 'POTTER TO HM THE QUEEN'. The bowl and cover stand 8cm high with a diameter of 11,5cm and weighs 410g.
