- Escalado was a popular English table horse racing game that originated in the late 1920s. Its a game of strategy, luck, and friendly competition.
- Up to six jockeys can participate, each with their own metal horse (plastic in more recent versions).
- One player acts as the bookie, setting the odds and managing the race.
- Players place wagers on five colored mechanical horses that race across a vibrating course.
