A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER LUXURIOUS PIECE OF GLASS
Made by Borské sklo, Nový Bor glassworks for Exbor. An Exbor vase with silver chloride and metal inclusions, cut and polished facets, the core encased in colourless glass. Hlava produced the first designs of this type in 1964 and won the Gold Medal for this design at the 1967 Leipzig Trade Fair. The monumental form and coloured internal design make this as much a sculpture as a functional vase.
A rare and highly sought after collectors item.

As this indicates authenticity and forms an inherent part of the character of handmade crystal glass, these are normally not considered as faults by collectors. This magnificent item is original and rare, hand-made Czech art glass (and not Italian Murano, Daum, Kosta Boda, Orrefors, Flygsfors, Swarovski, Leerdam, Val St Lambert, Whitefriars or Lalique studio glass). I personally handpicked & imported this rare beauty from the Czech Republic for my private collection.
