Nikon Coolpix P1000 Digital Camera. Shoot at staggering distances with the 125x optical zoom COOLPIX P1000 Digital Camera from Nikon. This camera, which has a 16MP backside illuminated CMOS sensor, features a built-in NIKKOR lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length range of 24-3000mm. You can zoom even further with 250x Dynamic Fine digital zoom, which will give you an equivalent focal length of 6000mm. Coupled with these extreme focal lengths is Nikon's Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction, which provides 5 stops of optical image stabilization and ensures your telephoto shots are crisp.
Gracing the back of the camera are a 3.2" vari-angle, 921k-dot LCD monitor and an eye-level 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder, so your subjects will always be easy to see. The camera is also capable of recording 4K UHD video at 30 or 25 fps and supports an external microphone via a 3.5mm connector.
Camera shake may be a concern while shooting at extreme focal lengths on a tripod. Or, you may need to otherwise remotely operate the P1000. The optional ML-L7 remote satisfies these needs with wireless operation off the camera's zoom, shutter, and other settings. Once you're done with a shoot, immediately access your photos on a paired smartphone via the Nikon SnapBridge app and the camera's built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Just when you thought that the P900's already amazing 83x zoom lens was unbeatable, the Nikon Coolpix P1000 gets released with 125x optical zoom and 250x Dynamic Fine Zoom. This means that the P1000 features an optical 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-3000mm or 24-6000mm with the assistance of Nikon's digital Dynamic Fine Zoom. This will allow you to shoot both macro shots of close subjects, or distant subjects not even visible to the naked eye. If you lose sight of your subject while zoomed in, press the Snap-Back Zoom button for a quick zoomed-out view, find your subject again and then release the button, the lens will zoom right back in and you can continue with the shooting.
The Nikon P1000's lens features an intelligent 5 stop optical vibration reduction system, for worry-free shooting. The camera and lens processes information taken from an angular velocity sensor, as well as the image itself, for extremely precise camera-shake compensation This will allow users to shoot handheld at speeds up to 32 times slower than non-stabilised (non-VR) lenses, and helps capture steady videos and sharp, blur-free pictures in low light and when zoomed in.
Unlike its predecessor, you can now record beautiful video footage in 4K UHD at 30 fps, by bringing all cinematic vision to life which is all thanks to its impressive lens and the much faster image processor that's been incorporated.
Unlike its predecessor, The Nikon P1000 features RAW image capture. By capturing RAW files, users will be able to further push post processing for even more accurate colours, wider dynamic range and improve noise reduction.
