The Late Nan Turpin a self taught dressmaker/designer whose talent drew the elite of Kimberley to make outfits for their special occasions created a collection of dolls as a hobby.
An exclusive limited stock of exquisitely dressed dolls for the collector and play. Each doll has not been replicated in style. No two styles or fabrics are alike in the collection. Nan cleverness was shown in her attention to detail and use of rich fabrics.
Nan's creativeness flourished as ideas kept flowing and soon the couturiers and doll collectors visiting her brought off cuts of expensive materials and trimmings. Though the collection was never made public, those who visited Nan in her home raved about the incredible talent she had. Many copied her styles for their clients.
Each doll comes with a certificate of authenticity and in some cases the outfit bears a designer label. .
