A stunning and rare milk jug and sugar basin set by Royal Albert in the "Cotswold" pattern and the stylish "Gainsborough" shape.
Jug: 14cm L x 9cm W x 8cm
Bowl: 13.5cm L x 10.7cm W x 5cm H
Fair condition. The jug has no chips, cracks or grazing but the gilding on the top rim and handle is almost completely worn away. The gilding is largely intact on the sugar basin, but it has a crack that goes down for about 4.5cm on the side. See the last two photos for close-ups. Price much reduced accordingly.
