| Spiloxene (Cape Star) is a genus of about 25 plant species belonging to the Hypoxidaceae family. Most Spiloxene species are native to South Africa, with four native to Australia and New Zealand. The rootstock is a corm, leaves are linear to ovate, and flowers are star or funnel shaped. Growing 6cm-9cm with yellow flowers that have a dark reverse.
