Directed by Hans Richard Müller on behalf of the Swiss Foundation for Mountain Research, English edition. Hardcover first published 1964 by George Allen and Unwin Ltd. The jacket is rubbed and edge-worn, with several short tears and chips to edges and folds. The brown cloth boards with gilt titling are clean, with some sunning to extremities, and a slight lean to the spine. Apart from a book seller's label to the inside front board, and the name of a previous owner on the page opposite, the pages are clean and unmarked.
